The Park Bistro & Restaurant, Linlithgow 

The Park Bistro is situated just outside of historic Linlithgow with its palace, the birthplace of Mary Queen of Scots. It is regarded as the royal palace of Scottish Kings and Queens and the earliest reference to Linlithgow Palace is 1301. It is now in the care of Historic Scotland and open every day.

Canal boats can travel from Edinburgh, stopping at the Linlithgow Canal Basin, to the Falkirk Wheel and using the boat lift can continue on the Forth & Clyde canal to Bowling in Glasgow.

Menus

The Park Bistro has an extensive, yet varied all day/evening  menu. The farmhouse principles dictate the large portions, whilst local ingredients and farm garden produce are used wherever possible.

The farmhouse garden is regularly raided, providing herbs and seasonal fruit for the kitchen.

All day menu and chef's special  

In addition to the all day menu, a lighter bite section is included which is available until 5pm. Baked potatoes and paninis with a wide selection of fillings, or breakfast rolls are popular options.

In addition to the extensive menu, the head chef's special board is also available. The wide ranging specials regularly include game and seafood.

A children's menu is available until 7pm, and is suitable for diners under the age of nine.
